Something interesting...

I haven't posted for a REALLY long time-- I know that. But I'm doing it now.

The trailer...hmmm the trailer. It seems to be...missing in action. We were expecting it to come out first with Twilight or possibly Quantum of Solace, but obviously neither of those possibilities happened. Then the trailer was apparently being released last night with The Day The Earth Stood Still. That didn't happen either. Bay left a message on his website saying that the teaser trailer won't be released until February, which unfortunately means a little bit of a wait. There should be a teaser poster coming out in mid-January, if I'm not mistaken. I haven't seen it yet, but usually when Bay says he's going to release something to the public, he does. He says he doesn't know if he wants the trailer to premiere in theaters or during the Superbowl in Feb. Either way, people will see it. We haven't been able to see it yet and it's been done for a month. That's how top secret it is. I, for one, am really excited to see it, even though it's just a teaser and nothing that big will be given away in it.

Since the last time I posted, we finished filming (obviously)! The shoot was amazing, and everyone was so wonderful and fabulous we can't wait for the next one. There's no official word on what lies ahead for the next installment--we just have to wait and see how this one does before they give us the green light. But I've said this before, and I'll say it again: it doesn't matter to me when TF3 happens; as long as Bay is directing, I'm there. Because he makes movies that make TONS of money at the box office. And they're not just popcorn movies--they're epic. The movies are great, but so are the people behind them. It's important to have people behind the scenes who are as dedicated to the cause as you are, and Bay's team is absolutely amazing. Typing that makes me miss them even more. Even when I was covered in dirt, running around the desert in Arizona trying to not get blown up. Good times.

So now I have some downtime, and I'm really liking it. Being home in Los Angeles is fabulous. I've done one press event in the past couple of weeks-- the GQ Men of the Year party. That was the week before Thanksgiving, and since then, I've just been relaxing at home. It's nice, actually. But I know that soon, all of that will end. Press is going to start for Jennifer's Body soon, sometime after the new year. I have no idea exactly when though, though it will be 2009 for sure. Of course, that's when all the TF2 stuff will start, so I better be prepared...

With all my downtime, I have some new obsessions. For one, the hamburgers at In-N-Out Burger--protein style. They take the bun and replace it with lettuce. Yum. It seems like everytime I go near the one on Sunset Boulevard, I stop in. But I don't pass it that often, so I guess it's better that way. My second current obsession? Seeing movies. It's really hard for me to actually get out of the house without the paparazzi noticing, but when I see an opportunity to do so, I jump at it. Lately, I've been finding myself seeing Twilight maybe more than I should. I loved the book--I've read the entire series by Stephenie Meyer-- but I'm not really a fan of turning books into movies--you always worry if they'll do the book justice. But I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised with this one. Jen and I went to see it the week that it came out, and since then, I've seen it 3 more times. I might be obsessed (I guess I said that I already was though, right?).

Then there's The Dark Knight. Brian bought it on Tuesday and we still haven't watched it yet. That's probably what we'll end up doing tonight if there's nothing else going on. That movie is one of my all time favorites. It's really Heath Ledger at his best, not to mention the rest of the cast. The entire movie is spectacular, but I'm sure you already knew that (unless you haven't seen it, due to the fact that you live under a rock or something).

After this post, I feel the need to go see Twilight, grab an In-N-Out burger and watch The Dark Knight--none of which will probably happen tonight...

I'll try to keep this more updated. It's just been really crazy lately and I haven't had the time to sit and type like this. As more TF2 stuff gets released, I'll try to put it on here.
